To provide an environment
in which everyone can live, play, work and invest without experiencing
detrimental health or social consequence by tobacco smoke whilst promoting
Rotherham as a caring and innovative community.
In achieving this vision we will:
- Reduce exposure to secondhand smoke in work
and public places.
- Provide an environment in which non smoking is
portrayed as the social norm, moving to influence young people’s
lifestyle choices around smoking.
- Portray Rotherham positively as a place to live,
work, play and invest, encouraging new and continued business development.
- Promote Healthy lifestyles
- Add value with the provision of more smokefree
environments, maximising health and economic gains.
- Make stopping smoking and staying stopped easier.
